Amorphous hydrous active carbon and ruthenium oxide composite electrodes were prepared. Amorphous hydrous Ruthenium oxide was formed by a sol-gel process. In this paper, some different proportions of composite electrodes were fabricated with the RuO2 and active carbon. The experiment result also shows that the 3:2 of amorphous hydrous active carbon and ruthenium oxide composite electrodes is ideal proportion. The results show that it can improve the impedance characteristic and increase the capacitance of composite electrode by joined them together.
