Some preliminary studies on the growth of lead zirconatetitanate single crystals are reported. The raw materials used were powder specimens prepared by solid state reactions. The compositions of the solid solutions are described as Pb(Zrx-Ti1-x)O3 and the values of x are specified. The KF and KF-PbF2 solutions were examined.
