Copolymers of methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate and styrene with N‐tolylmaleimide having different compositions were synthesized by free radical bulk and solution polymerization. Some of their properties, e.g. chemical resistance, thermal strength, density, shrinkage on polymerization, and refractive index, were studied. The influence of the content of N‐tolylmaleimide in the copolymers on their properties is discussed.
