Presentation of CaseA 6 1/2-year-old black girl was admitted to the hospital because of sexual precocity.The girl was born by a vaginal delivery after a fullterm third pregnancy to a mother 28 years old; the pregnancy was complicated by attacks of pain secondary to sickle–hemoglobin C disease. The pain required the administration of oxygen in emergency rooms. Delivery was uncomplicated, and the child's birth weight was 3.4 kg.
