Background: Psoriasis, a persistent skin condition with significant medical and psychosocial consequences, is mainly linked to genetic factors. Its global prevalence varies, impacting individuals of all ages, showcasing distinct patterns in both genders. This condition is correlated with a reduced lifespan and heightened risks of specific health issues. The pathophysiology of psoriasis encompasses genetic predisposition and diverse environmental factors. While conventional treatments involve topical creams, phototherapy, and systemic medications, this case study delves into the effectiveness of naturopathy and ozone therapy as complementary approaches for psoriasis management. Case presentation:The patient, a 15-year-old male with severe psoriasis, after case assessment and taking consent, underwent a 10-day naturopathy intervention combined with ozone therapy. The participant's vital signs and symptoms, such as itching, redness, and scaling, were monitored daily.Therapies were regularly assessed and adjusted as needed. He was also given some dietary advice to follow, including to incorporate raw foods and engage in therapeutic juice fasting using seasonal fruits and vegetables. After undergoing 10 days of naturopathic treatment, which included the use of ozone therapy as well, the patient's Psoriasis Area and Severity Index score experienced a remarkable improvement, decreasing from 39.6 to 14.1, while the Dermatology Life Quality Index changed from 16 to 7. The patient reported enhanced overall well-being and a commitment to a healthier lifestyle. Conclusion: This case report highlights remarkable improvements in the condition of psoriasis and its impact on the patient's quality of life after a 10-day naturopathy intervention combined with ozone therapy.Clinical significance: This case suggests that naturopathy and ozone therapy can be valuable additions to psoriasis management.
