The object of this paper is to describe a shorter and simpler method for computing daily insolation. Two tables are submitted for use with the standard equation for insolation. One is the average daily solar airmass which can be used for either a day or a half day. The other is the daily insolation at the outside of the atmosphere. It may be divided by two for half days.
