From the Guy's-Maudsley Neurosurgical Unit, London Intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, vascular tumours, and certain of the bleeding diseases are recognized causes of bleeding into the subarachnoid space. The following case represents an unusual cause, which, although it has been recognized at necropsy, does not appear previously to have been diagnosed and treated during life.
