29 Si and 31 P MAS‐NMR spectra were measured for the Li 2 S‐SiS 2 ‐Li 3 PO 4 glasses. 29 Si MAS‐NMR spectra revealed that a large number of silicon atoms in the glasses were coordinated with both sulfur and oxygen atoms. 31 P MAS‐NMR spectra showed that some phosphorus atoms were also coordinated with both sulfur and oxygen atoms. Such structural units resulted in the improvement of the conductivity and the glass stability against crystallization by the doping of Li 3 PO 4 to the Li 2 S‐SiS 2 glasses.
