A Systems Security Approach for Emerging Programmable Network Architectures

The growing complexity of evolving programmable networks demands a systems-oriented security ­approach. We argue for treating the programmable network infrastructure as a system, exploring how classic systems security defenses apply and propose challenges and opportunities in securing emerging programmable network architectures.
