On the basis of a general theory of the resonant Raman scattering ordered and disordered systems with strong electron‐phonon interaction are investigated in systems with localized electron states. For a system with a single narrow band a resonance peak occurs, which is analogue to the optical intraband absorption peak of small polaron systems. For models with two bands a luminescence peak occurs with a large Stokes shift besides an analogous resonant Raman peak.
