In Brief Fibrin occlusion therapy has been used successfully for the treatment of a variety of intractable fistulae. Few reports of successful fibrin occlusion of vesicovaginal fistulae report this as a simple outpatient surgery lacking significant morbidity and achieving successful results with the first attempt. We report our experience with the use of fibrin sealant to manage a small iatrogenic vesicovaginal fistula. Additional studies are needed to better define the potential role of fibrin sealant in managing vesicovaginal fistulae. Fibrin occlusion through transvaginal injection proved unsuccessful in treating a small vesicovaginal fistula.
