The persistence of insecticidal activity of Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner (variety kurstaki , HD-1 strain) on cotton leaves in the field was determined in 1976 and 1977 by using two techniques and two insect species. In both years the insecticidal activity half-life was between 1.5 and 2 days.
