Complexes of Rh(III), Ir(III), Ru(III), Pd(II) and Pt(II) with salicylaldehyde semicarbazone have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, conductance measurements, magnetic moments, i.r. and electronic spectral studies. Complexes of Rh(III), Ir(III) and Ru(III) are six coordinate octahedral while Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes are square planar.
