A multiple-product facility consisting of a manufacturing process and a finished product warehouse for several types of products is considered. An (R, r) continuous-review inventory control policy is applied to each type of product in the warehouse. The demand arrival process of each type is assumed to be Poisson. The processing times and the set-up times are arbitrarily distributed. We have developed an iterative procedure to approximately compute the average inventory level of each product in the warehouse under different priority schemes
