A method is described to obtain at the same time the parameters of the calibration and the dispersion function in GPC. It is possible to compare the logarithmic‐linear and non‐linear calibration function as well as symmetric and non‐symmetric dispersion functions with the experimental results in order to decide, which of them in a given case might be applied. It is not necessary to express the experimental elution curve by an analytical function. The experimental requirements to apply the method are not greater than those necessary to carry out a common calibration. The possibility of some other applications is also discussed.
