Hypertension in a 6-year-old girl was cured following nephrectomy for a reninsecreting renal tumor. Preoperative diagnosis allowed optimal tissue preservation for morphological studies, which demonstrated similarities of the tumor cells both to normal juxtaglomerular cells and to those of the few reninsecreting tumors previously described.
