Dopamine, a crucial neurotransmitter in the brain, is associated with motivation, reward-seeking behavior, and cognitive flexibility. Elevated levels of dopamine can influence leadership styles by enhancing decision-making, risk-taking tendencies, and social dynamics, especially social engagement and meaningful dialogue. In military leadership, dopamine impact on decision-making and team dynamics can influence operational effectiveness in high-risk missions. We found out that leadership group(11 militaries) had high level of dopamine on return home back from high-risk mission. While high dopamine levels can foster innovative and decisive leadership, they may also contribute to impulsivity and risk-prone decision-making. Understanding the role of dopamine in military leadership can inform training programs and psychological assessments in defense operations.
