Results for the single-particle motion in a realistic simulation model of the intermediate-strength, network-forming liquid in the vicinity of its melting point are presented. The shape of the self-intermediate scattering function, as seen in incoherent neutron scattering experiments, is compared, qualitatively, with the predictions of the mode-coupling theory.
