Mixed ligand complexes of ruthenium(III) with β-diketones, halide and triphenylphosphine or triphenylarsine as ligands have been synthesised. The complexes were assigned the formula [RuX2(DIKET) (EPh3)2] (X = CI, Br; E = P, As; DIKET=diketonate) on the basis of analytical and spectral (IR, electronic and EPR) data. An octahedral structure has been proposed for all these complexes.
