Acute abdomen is a common condition encountered in all acute surgical units. In the majority of cases, the diagnosis can be made from history taking, physical examination and the past medical history of the patients. The most common causes of acute abdomen arise from the gastrointestinal tract. We report a case of an adult with tuberous sclerosis who developed an acute abdomen from a complication of a renal angiomyolipoma.
