DSC measurements have been performed on blue bronze K 0.3 MoO 3 between 110 and 295 K. Two anomalies at 240 and 180 K were observed in heating runs. A hysteresis of nearly 40 K at the 240 K anomaly was observed in a cooling run, which indicates a first-order transition.
