The '2nd negative' spectrum emitted by the C 2 Sigma u + state of N 2 + in an electron beam experiment is analysed for different nitrogen isotopes. It is found that in 29 N 2 and 30 N 2 the vibrational levels v'=3 to v'=7 predissociate about six respectively ten times more slowly than in 28 N 2 .
