A synthetic route to combined main‐chain/side‐group chiral liquid‐crystalline (lc) polymers via precursor polymers with phenolic groups is presented. A polymer‐analogous reaction with chiral acids (conversions 90–100%) led to 33 new chiral lc polymers, which exhibit chiral smectic C*, smectic A, and cholesteric phases.
