The relative emission cross section for He 31P exchange excitation in He+Ne collisions has been measured in the low-energy range (30 eV-2 keV). When the data, including data obtained with a linear polariser, are plotted as a function of inverse impact velocity, a system of at least four different series of Rosenthal-type oscillations is observed. Their origin is discussed within the framework of the diabatic correlation diagram for the (He-Ne)+system.
