Extremely high−sensitivity and high−resolution Stark spectroscopy by 10−μ CO2 and N2O lasers is demonstrated using a multipath cell, which serves simltaneously as a Doppler−limited linear absorption spectrometer and as a Lamb−dip spectrometer.
