The pp differential elastic scattering cross sections at high energies and small momentum transfer are obtained from a phenomenological analysis using the measured total cross sections and the ratios of the real to the imaginary part of the forward nuclear scattering amplitude. Shrinkage and the observed "break" in the slope are correctly described for all incident momenta in the range 5plab2000 GeV/c.
