This descriptive phenomenological study design explored the physical education teachers' experiences in handling major courses in Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) in the new normal. Twelve (12) physical education teachers were purposively selected to be the informants of the study. Data were gathered utilizing open-ended interview guide questions through one-on-one interviews via online meeting platforms. There were three (3) major themes that emerged in the study, to wit: (1) the teaching practice, (2) the attitude, and (3) the challenge. The data revealed that physical education teachers experienced various encounters in applying new teaching practices in the new normal that were significantly influenced by their attitude in response to the significant challenges confronting them. They have developed innovative teaching approaches to meet the demands of teaching Physical Education major courses in the new normal. Thus, it is recommended that physical education teachers will undergo pedagogical and technological training. Further, that the school administrators develop a curriculum fitted to the new normal setting and come up with a solution to solve internet connectivity problems.
