A rare case of retroperitoneal xanthogranuloma is presented, with a summary of clinical and radiologic findings. Gross and microscopic findings were reviewed by several pathologists. Radiation response has been evaluated by means of i.v. pyelograms, as well as angiographic studies. a gratifying result has been reported following radiation treatment.
