Weak ferromagnetism has been found in (DBr-DCNQI) 2 Cu below the Néel temperature, T N =16 K. The remanent magnetization does not decrease with lowering temperature, which is in contrast to that observed for (DMe-DCNQI- d 8 ) 2 Cu. The results suggest that the weak ferromagnetism is a universal feature of the antiferromagnetically ordered state of the DCNQI 2 Cu system.
