Aliphatic poly‐1,3,4‐oxadiazoles were prepared from aliphatic dicarboxylic dihydrazides or from dicarboxylic derivatives and hydrazine sulfate by solution polycondensation in polyphosphoric acid. Their preparation and physical properties, such as solubility, crystallinity, and thermal stability are described.
