Most of the strong lines arising from the d³, d²4s and d²4p configurations of Cr IV and the d⁴, d³4s and d³4p configurations of Cr III, Mn IV and Fe V have been classified. The presence of forbidden lines of these ions in astronomical sources is discussed.
