It has been called to my attention that in my recent article ("Study of the Value of Bacterial Vaccines in the Treatment of Bronchial Asthma Associated with Respiratory Infections," Pediatrics, 24:427, 1959) in the first paragraph of the Discussion, page 431, the quotation from Rubin is incomplete. The quotation given was: "The frequency with which respiratory infection precedes the asthmatic attack has led many workers to consider bacterial sensitization the most important cause of asthma in children."
