The many-body Green's function theory of Yarlagadda and Taylor (1975) is applied in the lowest order to the coincident ionization of the helium atom. Significant agreement is obtained with the experimental results of Ehrhardt and coworkers (1972). The success of the two-time model of inelastic processes is demonstrated.
