The isotropic hyperfine structure of the electron paramagnetic resonance spectrum of the dimesitylmethyl radical has been observed. Nearly 300 of the 910 theoretical lines have been resolved and analyzed in terms of the coupling constants of the various nuclear species. A spin-density distribution throughout the molecule has been deduced from the measurements and is compared with recent theoretical calculations.
