It is shown that the relaxation time spectra of concentrated polymer solutions are obtained on the basis of molecular theory using the network structure model. These spectra are considered to be reflecting two kinds of relaxation mechanisms; (a), the vibrational modes between network structures, (b) the vibrational modes of intra‐chain submolecules in the network. In this paper the vibrational modes of each mechanism are calculated independently. The results show that the wedge‐type distribution of the relaxation spectrum can be obtained from the mechanism (b) and the box‐type distribution can be obtained from the mechanism (a), respectively, and that the deviations from Ferry's master curves originate from interactions between these networks. Good agreement is shown between this theory and experiments.
