A high-speed digital computer program is described for automatic map construction and distance computations of animal movement data obtained by telemetry. The program is adapted to the University of Minnesota's CDC 160A in connection with a CDC 160A which furnishes instructions to a X-Y plotter for map construction. A discussion of the program, a flow diagram, and photos of the output are provided. Consideration is given to interpretation of ecological concepts such as activity pattern and home range.
