Hole generation through triplet excitons at the surface of organic crystals has been measured as delayed hole generation with an exponential time dependence determined by the triplet lifetime in the crystal bulk. The probability for electron transfer quenching of singlet and triplet excitons has been found to depend strongly on the nature of the contact at the crystal surface.
