Comprehensive review details quantum circuit implementations for traversable wormhole dynamics across quantum processors, suggesting pathways to explore quantum gravity on modern hardware.
We present an exhaustive review of the theoretical and computational framework for simulating traversable wormholes on quantum computers. Using insights from ER=EPR and AdS/CFT holography, we describe how entanglement-driven teleportation protocols can emulate wormhole dynamics. We summarize key quantum information and circuit-optimization techniques enabling such simulations. Implications for quantum gravity, spacetime geometry, and future quantum technologies are discussed. This extended review includes detailed derivations of the SYK model, JT gravity, the Gao–Jafferis–Wall protocol, and the connection to quantum error correction. We also provide extensive circuit implementations, error mitigation strategies, a survey of recent experimental realizations on various quantum processors, and many pedagogical footnotes.
