Solutions of the nonrelativistic Hartree—Fock equations for the 4p35s(3S) term of the Se atom have been obtained. Wavefunctions are tabulated and results of computations of excitation energies and oscillator strengths are presented. The computed emission oscillator strengths for the 3S1→4p4(3PJ) array agree with those obtained by semiempirical methods, both being in rather sharp disagreement with available experimental values. Excitation energies are predicted to within 25%.
