Fungus infections of the nervous system are admittedly rare and the report of additional cases can be justified only if they demonstrate new facts. We believe this to be true of the following two cases. They present certain clinical features not described previously in association with asper- gillosis and also exhibit an unusual combination of pathological changes which aid in the interpretation of the pathology of other types of chronic inflam- matory disease of the central nervous system.
