Microwave transversal recursive filters using mismatched microstrip radial power dividers/combiners

The feasibility of microwave recursive and/or transversal filters employing mismatched power dividers/combiners is demonstrated. The use of radial-line power dividers/combiners in the realization of these types of filters represents a new methodology in the microwave filter field. Several configurations of these filters are analyzed to determine both their properties and future possible applications.
