The conductivity of mixed-phase films prepared by the are-plasma-spraying process is presented as a function of the volume fraction of the phases present in the films, and also as a function of temperature. The theoretical model presented recently (Smith and Anderson 1981) on the conductivity of mixed-phase films as a function of volume fraction and particle-size ratio is shown to predict the temperature dependence of conductivity in a natural way. The experimental data is presented along with curves from the theoretical model and the relevant parameters deduced.
