The author calculates the temperature dependence of the low-temperature thermopower enhancement produced by the electron-phonon interaction. Using the experimentally determined density of vibrational states F( omega ) and an energy-dependent electron-phonon coupling alpha 2 , his calculations give a good account of the thermopower measurements of Gallagher (1981) on amorphous CuZr and CuTi alloys.
