Orthogonally polarized light technology holds significant promise for applications in visible light communication, 3D displays, and medical imaging. This study introduces a novel semi-polar (202¯1) InGaN/GaN-based microcavity light-emitting diode (MCLED) capable of simultaneously generating orthogonally polarized light parallel and perpendicular to the [101¯4¯] axis. An optical resonant cavity was formed by employing SiO 2 /TiO 2 distributed Bragg reflectors (DBR) and Ag as reflectors, enhancing thermal dissipation and achieving a high polarization ratio (∼0.89). A parallel MCLED array was fabricated, significantly improving output power while maintaining orthogonal polarization. This work advances orthogonally polarized light technology, offering new possibilities for practical applications.
