The triple-coincidence technique, coupled with magnetic fields, can be used to feature the behavior of positron bound systems in condensed matter. In particular, data concerning the anomalous magnetic quenching of positronium in some nonmetallic solids are presented; comparisons with results from lifetime spectroscopy are made. Possible applications of the technique are discussed.
