Spin-spin interaction has been evaluated for all the atoms with pn and dn configurations using the radial functions calculated from numerical Hartree-Fock wavefunctions. The magnitude of the interaction is much smaller than the orbit-orbit and spin-other-orbit interaction and may in most practical cases be neglected.
