The conductivity of thin and narrow Nb films in the resistive state is studied in the frequency range 1−400 MHz. The features of the frequency dependence of conductivity due to electron heating are determined. The heating influence on the current–voltage characteristics is studied. The experimental data are found to be in agreement with the theory of homogeneous electron heating.
