Verrucous carcinoma of the oral cavity: Report of two cases and review of the literature.

Verrucous carcinoma, a variant form of well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, was first described by Ackerman in 1948. In Japan, following a case of buccal mucous membrane reported in 1967 by Kozaki et al., 50 cases were since reported.We reported 2 cases of verrucous carcinoma of tongue and palate, and review of the literature.
