Measurements have been made of the equilibrium permittivity epsilon 0 and the dielectric relaxation time tau of eugenol and glycerol. For glycerol the temperature ranged from 248 to 291K and pressures reached 0.62 GPa. For eugenol temperatures ranged from248 to 323K and pressures reached 0.42 GPa. Observations were made of the freezing behaviour of eugenol. The results are discussed in terms of the Kirkwood-Frohlich equation and the parameters of an activated state.
