We present the case of an infection with Mycobacterium leprae associated with AIDS, a case that has not previously been reported.A 43-year-old homosexual man who had lived in Brazil from 1972 to 1985 was treated in December 1985 for a large, annular, partially anesthetic lesion with raised borders and a healing center on the left forearm.
